Gideon Kibirige is a Reservoir Engineer at TotalEnergies. He pursued a Master of Science in Reservoir Engineering at IFP School in France, thanks to a postgraduate scholarship from TotalEnergies EP Uganda. His professional journey has been dedicated to positively impacting Uganda’s oil and gas sector.
His inspiration to pursue a career in the petroleum industry stems from a deep interest in energy resources and their role in shaping economies. The dynamic nature of the industry and the opportunity to contribute to Uganda’s energy sector motivated him to specialize in reservoir engineering.
His main goals for SPE Uganda include enhancing member
engagement, promoting professional development, and fostering collaboration with industry stakeholders.
